For the first 29 years of James’ life, he was known as James. However, James became “Jimmy” when he attended an internet marketing conference in June of 2011, in San Diego, CA. James “Jimmy” was selected to go on the “hotseat” in front of hundreds of the top internet marketers. The emcee, Paul Colligan, was trying to come up with jokes all day that would keep the audience engaged. While James was on his way up to the stage, Paul, started saying … “Jimbo, Jimmy, Jimmyariah (sp?), Jimmmmmmmmy,” the audience loved the Jimmy jokes and the name stuck. Throughout the conference, if there was any technical difficulties, the person on stage would just say “Jimmmmmmy,” and the audience would laugh. Over the weekend, everyone knew James as “Jimmy”. You can call him James or Jimmy.
James “Jimmy” Nicholas is the President of EasyWebCreations.com, an internet marketing and web development firm with multiple offices in CT. James started the business when he was fifteen years old. James graduated from Bryant University. While at Bryant, James won a few prestigious awards: 1st place in the Business Plan Competition, 2003 – Bryant Entrepreneur of the Year, 2003 – New England Collegiate Entrepreneur of the Year, and 2004 – Computer Information Systems Top Student Award. In 2004, he wrote a chapter in the published book, Beyond the Lemonade Stand. His chapter focused on how to become successful, and be ethical in business. James has led EasyWebCreations.com from a one-person organization to a team of about twenty-five people that specialize in various areas of web design, internet marketing, and marketing.
Currently, James has expanded into video marketing, as video is becoming more and more important to marketing for small businesses and organizations. James has launched his online marketing division of EasyWebCreations.com, JimmyMarketing.com.
